The Heat Stabilized Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon PA66 Compounds are specially developed for automotive water pump housings and impellers, where long-term exposure to hot coolant, high mechanical stress, and elevated operating temperatures is a constant challenge.
Unlike standard nylon materials, this grade incorporates advanced heat stabilizers and glass fiber reinforcement, delivering exceptional thermal stability, dimensional accuracy, and hydrolysis resistance. With these advantages, it ensures consistent performance and extended service life in demanding automotive environments.
By combining strength, lightweight properties, and excellent chemical resistance, this material has become the preferred choice for OEMs and tier suppliers in modern vehicle cooling systems.

Notes: The general guidelines are only for reference. Exact settings have to follow the product and machine conditions.
Avoid contact with other materials, dust and debris in the injection processing.
Avoid long time stay in the barrel in the injection processing.
Drying: Always pre-dry at 100–110°C for 4–6 hours before molding to prevent hydrolysis and surface defects.
Molding Guidelines: Injection temperature 270–300°C, mold temperature 80–100°C for optimal crystallinity.
Design Recommendations: Ensure proper wall thickness to balance strength and flowability in complex pump designs.
Chemical Exposure: Tested and compatible with ethylene glycol–based coolants, but avoid prolonged exposure to highly acidic or alkaline fluids.
Safety: Use proper molding exhaust systems as processing at high temperatures may release fumes.
Superior Heat Resistance – Retains strength and rigidity even at continuous 120–150°C operation.
Excellent Hydrolysis Resistance – Long-term stability in hot water and coolant environments.
High Mechanical Strength – Glass fiber reinforcement boosts tensile strength up to 160 MPa.
Dimensional Stability – Minimal warpage, critical for maintaining pump sealing and efficiency.
Lightweight Alternative to Metals – Reduces overall vehicle weight, enhancing fuel efficiency.
Wear Resistance – Prolongs life of impellers and housings under constant fluid circulation.
Corrosion-Free – Unlike metal pumps, no rusting or scaling issues.
Working Principle: The polyamide matrix combined with heat stabilizers and glass fibers forms a composite that resists both thermal aging and mechanical stress. The reinforced structure absorbs vibration while resisting deformation, ensuring stable water pump operation.
