Notes: The general guidelines are only for reference. Exact settings have to follow the product and machine conditions.
Avoid contact with other materials, dust and debris in the injection processing.
Avoid long time stay in the barrel in the injection processing.
The pellets should be dried before processing to avoid hydrolytic degradation. During injection molding, high shear stress should be minimized to prevent fiber breakage. Finished products should not be subjected to continuous direct flame exposure, as the material is heat resistant but not flameproof unless additional flame retardants are added. When cleaning, avoid aggressive solvents that may weaken the polymer structure.
High heat resistance and stability in temperatures up to 200°C
Retains mechanical strength under long-term thermal exposure
Excellent electrical insulation properties for appliance safety
Enhanced stiffness and durability compared to unfilled nylon
Lightweight design contributes to energy-efficient appliances
Compatible with color customization for consumer markets
The integration of glass fibers significantly enhances heat distortion temperature, allowing the nylon to maintain shape and strength under high operating temperatures. This makes it especially suitable for parts near heating elements or motors. Common applications include appliance housings, handles, brackets, and structural parts of coffee makers, air fryers, and vacuum cleaners. Its versatility also extends to automotive and electronic components that require both heat resistance and mechanical strength.
