Heat Stabilized Nylon PA6 compounds are designed for manufacturing durable appliance shells such as vacuum cleaners, coffee machines, food processors, and hair dryers. Unlike standard PA6 materials, these heat-stabilized compounds resist thermal aging, discoloration, and embrittlement when exposed to elevated temperatures during long-term household use. Avoid contact with other materials, dust and debris in the injection processing.
Avoid long time stay in the barrel in the injection processing.
Prior to processing, the pellets must be dried at 75–85°C for 3–5 hours to avoid hydrolytic degradation. Processing temperatures should be maintained between 240–260°C. Components should not be exposed to open flames or continuous heat above 150°C unless higher grades are selected. For colored appliance shells, UV-stabilized grades are recommended to prevent fading over time.
