Precautions

To ensure best performance, the material must be pre-dried at 80–90°C for 3–4 hours before injection molding to prevent hydrolytic degradation. Processors should carefully control the melt temperature to avoid decomposition of the flame retardant system, which may reduce efficiency and affect surface finish. In application, components made from Flame Retardant PA6 should not be exposed to continuous direct flame or welding sparks without additional protective shielding. Furthermore, automotive manufacturers should verify compatibility with lubricants, brake fluids, and other automotive chemicals, as long-term exposure can affect part performance.
