Our Impact Resistant Colored Nylon PA6/PA66 Compounds are specially developed for power tool housings that demand exceptional toughness, vibrant colors, and long-term durability. Designed with high-impact modifiers and advanced color stabilization technology, this material ensures that electric drills, screwdrivers, grinders, and other tools not only deliver outstanding mechanical protection but also maintain an attractive and professional appearance.
Compared to standard nylons, this modified impact-resistant grade exhibits significantly higher notched Izod impact strength, making tool housings resistant to drops, shocks, and vibrations during daily operation. Additionally, the material provides heat resistance up to 120–150°C, ensuring performance stability under continuous motor heating.
With color customization options, manufacturers can achieve vivid finishes in red, yellow, green, blue, black, or metallic tones, enhancing brand differentiation in competitive markets.

Notes: The general guidelines are only for reference. Exact settings have to follow the product and machine conditions.
Avoid contact with other materials, dust and debris in the injection processing.
Avoid long time stay in the barrel in the injection processing.
Pre-Drying: Recommended at 80–100°C for 3–4 hours before injection molding to remove moisture and prevent surface defects.
Processing Temperature: Melt temperature 240–270°C, mold temperature 70–90°C for optimal color dispersion and toughness.
Design Recommendations: Ensure uniform wall thickness to reduce stress concentration; incorporate ribbing for strength without unnecessary weight.
Color Management: Use UV-stabilized masterbatch for outdoor tools to prevent fading.
Superior Impact Strength – Modified with elastomer and impact modifiers for drop and shock resistance.
Heat Resistance – Maintains mechanical integrity under prolonged motor heat (up to 120–150°C continuous service).
Vibrant & Stable Colors – Available in multiple customized shades with excellent dispersion, gloss, and fade resistance.
Dimensional Stability – Reduced warpage, ensuring precise assembly of tool housings.
Lightweight & Strong – Lower density compared to metals, while offering excellent durability.
Noise & Vibration Dampening – Enhanced molecular structure absorbs vibrations for more comfortable tool handling.
Eco-Friendly – RoHS and REACH compliant, recyclable after use.
Working Principle: By integrating high-impact elastomers and heat stabilizers into the nylon matrix, the compounds absorb and distribute mechanical stress across the structure. This prevents brittle fracture during drops and ensures long-term durability under harsh working conditions.
Power tool housings – drills, grinders, screwdrivers, saws, sanders
Garden tools – trimmers, hedge cutters, lawn equipment housings
Industrial handheld devices – impact wrenches, measurement tools
Colored branding housings – customized corporate-colored tool sets
