Our Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene (GF-PP) Compounds are engineered for fixing clips and fasteners that require superior mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and long-term reliability. By incorporating high-performance glass fiber reinforcement into the polypropylene matrix, the material delivers a balance of lightweight properties, rigidity, and toughness.
Compared with standard PP, this GF-PP material offers 2–3 times higher stiffness and tensile strength, making it ideal for fasteners that must withstand repeated assembly, vibrations, and environmental stress. It is widely used in automotive mounting clips, furniture connectors, appliance fasteners, and industrial assembly parts.
These compounds are available in standard automotive black, grey, beige, and custom colors, with surface finishes optimized for both functional and aesthetic requirements.

Notes: The general guidelines are only for reference. Exact settings have to follow the product and machine conditions.
Avoid contact with other materials, dust and debris in the injection processing.
Avoid long time stay in the barrel in the injection processing.
Pre-Drying: Recommended at 90–100°C for 2–3 hours to remove moisture before molding.
Processing Temperature: Melt temperature 220–250°C, mold temperature 50–80°C for optimal fiber dispersion.
Design Considerations: Avoid sharp corners to reduce stress concentration; ensure uniform wall thickness for strength.
Assembly Guidance: Use in snap-fit or locking structures where high stiffness is required; avoid excessive bending beyond designed tolerances.
High Rigidity & Strength – Enhanced with 10–40% glass fiber for excellent load-bearing capacity.
Dimensional Stability – Reduced shrinkage and warpage, ensuring tight fit in assemblies.
Heat Resistance – Performs well under continuous temperatures up to 110–130°C, suitable for automotive and appliance environments.
Vibration & Fatigue Resistance – Maintains structural integrity under repeated mechanical stress.
Lightweight Alternative to Metals – Provides comparable strength with lower density, reducing overall system weight.
Customizable Options – Available in different glass fiber contents, colors, and MFI ranges for specific applications.
Eco-Friendly – Fully recyclable, compliant with RoHS and REACH standards.
Working Principle: The glass fibers within the PP matrix act as reinforcement rods, distributing loads and preventing crack propagation. This results in fasteners that are stronger, more rigid, and longer-lasting compared to unmodified PP.
