Product Description

High Strength Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene (PP) granules are designed to deliver outstanding rigidity, impact strength, and dimensional stability for demanding appliance housings. By incorporating 20–40% glass fibers into the polypropylene matrix, this engineering material significantly enhances its load-bearing capacity, ensuring long-lasting performance in electrical and household appliances. Avoid contact with other materials, dust and debris in the injection processing.

Avoid long time stay in the barrel in the injection processing.

Precautions

Before processing, the granules should be dried at 80–90°C for 2–3 hours to avoid surface defects caused by moisture absorption. Mold design should account for shrinkage rates between 0.5–0.7%, which are lower than unfilled PP. Avoid long-term UV exposure unless UV-stabilized grades are used. For appliance housings that come in direct contact with food, FDA-compliant versions are available.
