Our Toughened Polypropylene Compounds are specifically designed for automotive interior components, with a focus on armrest consoles that require superior toughness, durability, and a refined surface finish. By incorporating elastomeric modifiers and advanced compounding technology, this PP grade achieves excellent impact resistance, dimensional stability, and comfort in use, making it the ideal choice for modern vehicle interiors.
Unlike traditional PP, which may become brittle under impact or temperature fluctuations, our toughened PP materialsprovide outstanding resistance to cracking and wear. They are available in a wide range of automotive colors (black, beige, grey, or customized), with options for textured finishes that mimic leather or soft-touch surfaces.

Notes: The general guidelines are only for reference. Exact settings have to follow the product and machine conditions.
Avoid contact with other materials, dust and debris in the injection processing.
Avoid long time stay in the barrel in the injection processing.
Pre-drying: Recommended at 80–100°C for 2 hours to ensure consistent molding quality.
Molding: Suggested melt temperature 200–230°C, with mold temperature 40–60°C for optimal surface finish.
Design Guidelines: Reinforce hinge and locking structures to maximize the impact resistance of the armrest console.
Cleaning: Avoid aggressive solvents to maintain long-term appearance and mechanical performance.
High Impact Resistance – Toughened with elastomers, ensuring durability under repeated use.
Comfort-Oriented Surface Quality – Supports textured, matte, or soft-touch finishes for enhanced tactile feel.
Dimensional Stability – Prevents warpage and ensures tight fit with console assemblies.
Lightweight – Retains the low density of PP, helping to reduce overall vehicle weight.
Scratch & Wear Resistance – Maintains a premium look even after long-term daily use.
Customizable Colors – Black, beige, grey, and OEM-specific shades available for seamless interior integration.
Eco-Friendly – 100% recyclable, compliant with RoHS, REACH, and automotive VOC standards.
The working principle is based on the toughening mechanism of elastomer-modified PP, which absorbs impact energy and prevents cracking, while the PP matrix maintains stiffness and lightweight properties.
