Precautions

Before molding, the material should be pre-dried to reduce moisture sensitivity. Part design should incorporate draft angles for easy demolding due to the reduced shrinkage of mineral-filled PP. Since higher mineral content increases brittleness compared to unfilled PP, applications should avoid excessive impact loading. For products requiring color consistency, pigments should be well dispersed to counteract the natural grey tone of mineral-reinforced PP.
