Product Description

Durable Heat Stabilized PP granules are designed for the automotive and industrial sectors, where long-term exposure to both heat and mechanical stress is common. Unlike standard PP, this grade features stabilizers that enhance oxidation resistance, preventing embrittlement at high operating temperatures. With a service range of -20°C to 140°C, these materials are ideal for automotive under-the-hood parts such as fan shrouds, battery cases, air ducts, and also industrial products like machine housings and electrical enclosures.

Precautions

Pre-dry granules before molding at 80°C. Ensure correct wall thickness for components exposed to fluctuating heat loads. UV-stabilized variants should be chosen for outdoor automotive parts. For critical automotive safety applications, parts should undergo standard compliance testing (ISO/ASTM). Avoid continuous contact with hydrocarbons above 70°C, as it may reduce lifespan.
